Job summary

OSU-Oklahoma City is seeking a facilities technician to perform skilled duties related to building operations. You will work with minimal supervision on construction, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and assist with moving furniture and equipment.

The role requires 1–2 years in general trades maintenance, a valid Oklahoma driver's license, and the ability to work at times evenings or weekends while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• 1–2 years' experience in general trades maintenance related to facilities.
• Must have valid Oklahoma driver's license.
• Proficient with basic building maintenance including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on building systems and fixtures.
• Assist with construction, renovation and general repair tasks.
• Diagnose and fix light fixtures and related components on campus.
• Document work performed via operation reports and service requests.
• Follow safety practices and wear required PPE.
