Job summary

Pelican Products in Deerfield, MA is seeking an Assembler II to assemble, inspect, and pack protective cases using a variety of hand tools and fixtures. The role requires rotating through manufacturing cases and component molding, and following verbal or written work instructions to meet quality standards.

The position emphasizes hands-on assembly, visual inspection, proper labeling, and maintaining a clean, organized work area on the production line.

Qualifications

• Proficient operating 90%+ of manufacturing case workstations as per training records.
• Must rotate through Manufacturing Cases and Component Molding.
• Able to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Thorough understanding of large and small press operations, part numbers, names and colors.

Responsibilities

• Assembles parts and drills holes according to work instructions and documents required information.
• Performs visual and in-process inspections to ensure quality requirements.
• Packs completed product with customized labels for identification and traceability.
• Performs re-inspection, re-work, sorting and cleaning of plastic parts as requested.
• Rotates through different tasks on the assembly line.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
