Pelican is seeking an Assembler II in South Deerfield, MA. You will assemble, inspect, and pack protective cases using hand tools and fixtures, while ensuring compliance with work instructions and quality standards. Rotation through multiple assembly tasks and clean work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency at operating 90% of manufacturing cases workstations as documented by training records.
• Must rotate through Manufacturing Cases and Component Molding.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Thorough understanding of large and small press operations, part numbers, names and colors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and drill holes according to SOPs and document required information.
• Perform visual and in-process inspections to ensure quality.
• Pack finished products into boxes with labels for traceability.
• Re-inspect, re-work, sort, and clean plastic parts as needed.
• Rotate through different tasks on the assembly line.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Track Production Balance Sheets to prevent overruns.
• Operate auxiliary equipment like drilling fixtures and pin installation fixtures.
• Return all equipment to storage area after completing work.
