Job summary

Pelican Products is hiring a Foam Assembler for the 2nd shift in South Deerfield, MA. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and inspecting foam inserts to protect Pelican products in a fast-paced environment.

You will read drawings and follow work instructions, operate water jet equipment and cutting tools, and maintain accurate production records. A 1–2 year manufacturing background and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or production experience.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and cutting tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow part drawings, Bills of Materials, assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Layout, assemble, and construct foam sub-components and inserts for customer requirements.
• Operate fabrication equipment including water jets, saws, and die cutting presses.
• Inspect components to ensure quality standards are met and maintain production records.
