Juniper Communities is offering a DoD SkillBridge Internship for a Director of Sales and Marketing with opportunities in Dallas, San Antonio, or Fredericksburg, TX. Active-duty U.S.

military members who qualify for SkillBridge are encouraged to apply, and mentorship will be provided by Vets2PM LLC. You will lead the Sales and Marketing team, shape occupancy strategy, develop marketing initiatives, and build referral networks in a hospitality retirement setting.

Qualifications

• Active-duty U.S. Military members preferred.

• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage community sales efforts including prospecting, lead tracking, and closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Lead and coach the Sales and Marketing team.
• Implement marketing plans and track performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain a community outreach and networking calendar.
• Ensure compliance with Juniper's values and regulatory policies.
• Create and oversee the move-in process and welcome experience for new residents.
• Provide customer service and tour training for staff.
• Maintain CRM accuracy and sales reporting.
• Collaborate across departments to support community-wide events and campaigns.

Internship Summary
As aDirector of Sales and Marketing SkillBridge Internat Juniper Communities, you will gain hands-on leadership experience managing community outreach, occupancy strategy, and lead generation in a hospitality retirement environment. You’ll help develop and implement marketing initiatives, build and maintain referral networks, and guide prospective residents and their families through the decision-making journey—all while coordinating internal team efforts to drive community occupancy.

This internship blends strategic planning, performance management, and relationship-building across digital and in-person channels. You’ll also gain exposure to market analysis, branding, and the operational alignment of sales goals with broader organizational strategy.

Educational/Vocational Requirements:

• Understanding of the aging population’s needs is a plus

Compensation Range :
If hired after the internship the target compensation range is $70K - $82K. This compensation can vary depending on experience level, certifications, and other factors.
