Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid FL Driver’s License with no major driving violations at all times, required if driver position.
• Read, write and comprehend English with the ability to remain calm and communicate during a crisis.

Responsibilities

• Drive large capacity vehicles to transport program participants to training centers and community outings.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor self-administrations of medications, and communicate with pharmacy as needed.
• Facilitate skill development programs for participants, including instruction, assistance, prompting and documentation.
• Encourage participants to engage in meaningful day activities and community inclusion trips.
• Support paid vocational skill training, including contract work and quality assurance.
• Provide personal care and daily living support (hygiene, mealtime assistance, repositioning).
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report hazards as needed.
• Commit to working during inclement weather to ensure supervision and care.
