Job summary

W3Global is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Designer/Engineer in Tulsa, OK, to design and develop industrial equipment and skid-mounted systems using Autodesk Inventor. The role emphasizes 3D modeling, mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, and BOMs, with direct support to manufacturing and shop-floor activities.

You will collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to resolve fit-up and fabrication issues, review specifications, and update drawings from feedback.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical design/drafting/engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Experience designing skid-mounted systems and packaged equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and resolve design issues.
• Experience with BOMs and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and mechanical assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Prepare BOMs, material specs, and assembly documentation.
• Design skid-mounted systems, pump packages, piping layouts, and mechanical components.
• Review equipment layouts and vendor drawings for compatibility.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve fit-up and fabrication issues.
• Support projects from design through fabrication and testing.
• Update drawings based on engineering feedback and changes.
