Job summary

UE Manufacturing in Oklahoma City is seeking a Mechanical Designer II to create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for mobile and skid-mounted equipment. You will work under engineers to prepare designs, layouts, and drawings for assemblies, parts, and systems.

Responsibilities include developing BOMs, assisting with mechanical and electrical layouts, and applying company standards. You may travel to customer sites and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related manufacturing or design experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and drafting practices.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for equipment.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Assist with layout of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support design concepts and evaluate options.
• Interpret company standards and customer specifications.
• Read manufacturing prints and schematics.
• Process ECOs and implement design changes.
• Collaborate with fabrication/assembly teams; assist in reverse engineering when required.
• Occasional travel to customer sites and vendor locations.
