Gorsuch in Snowmass Village is seeking a Ski Technician - Rental & Sales to help customers select the right skis and maintain equipment. This full-time seasonal role is based at the Snowmass Village Ski Cafe store in the View Line Hotel and offers variety in a mountain lifestyle.

You will work as part of a team focused on service, with opportunities to advance into store management or merchandising, and you can enjoy benefits like ski passes, staff discounts, and comprehensive employee plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in ski shop preferred.
• High level of Snowsports industry product knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working in a team setting and helping other departments when needed.
• Experience with POS and Rental Reservations software preferred.

General Duties the Ski Technician Does are:

• Engage and connect with our customers by providing the best service.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, merchandise, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Maintain shop keeping standards as outlined by management.
• Adhere to all the health and safety procedures.

What the Ski Technician will need to be a great candidate:

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $22- $28 hourly. The rate of pay is the range we reasonably expect to pay for this position and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Full Time Shifts are 4 or 5 days a week. Include weekends and holidays.
Split Shifts available. 8am to 11am/3pm to 7pm or 8pm.
9am to 6pm
10 am to 7pm or 11 am to 8pm.
8 hours per day including breaks.
