Job summary

Sun & Ski Sports seeks a driven Ski Technician to join our team in a fast-paced, customer-first retail setting. You will provide expert advice, perform precise ski tuning, mounting, and repairs, and deliver an engaging, informative experience for guests on the slopes.

Ideal candidates have ski/snowboard tuning experience, at least one year in service, and strong interpersonal skills. This role offers an invigorating, team-based environment with opportunities for growth and product knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience with ski and/or snowboard tuning required.
• Minimum 1 year of service technician experience.
• Background in retail and customer service preferred.
• Strong selling skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships.
• Basic computer skills, with willingness to learn the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with enthusiasm and a genuine smile, creating a welcoming environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service, exceeding guest expectations with every interaction.
• Assess and determine each customer’s equipment needs based on skill level and preferences.
• Perform high-quality tunes, mounting, adjustments, and repairs per guidelines.
• Follow all safety protocols for tools and equipment.
• Accurately complete work orders and prioritize service requests efficiently.
• Ensure all pricing is accurate, including promotions and specials.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource on ski gear and products.
