Job summary

Aspen Skiing Company is seeking a Tune Technician to precisely tune, wax, and repair skis and snowboards for rental and guest-owned gear. You will help transfer gear between resort locations and report to the Tune Shop Manager.

Essential duties include sorting gear, performing tuning with Wintersteiger equipment, inspecting for quality, and maintaining tools and workspaces in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior certification in ski binding mounting, DIN settings, and torque testing preferred.
• Prior experience tuning skis or snowboards in a professional or high-volume environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort incoming skis and snowboards according to procedures.
• Tune, wax, and repair equipment using hand tools and Wintersteiger machinery.
• Inspect tuned equipment for quality and safety standards.
• Organize and stage finished equipment for delivery to locations.
• Perform end-of-shift cleaning and maintenance of tuning equipment and benches.
• Complete nightly closing procedures and prepare shop for incoming shift.
• Transfer rental, retail, and non-inventory items between locations.
• Fulfill restocking requests and ensure returns are re-racked.
• Assist with loading/unloading and safe transport of products.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (pallet jacks, dock lifts, carts).
• Coordinate equipment transfers across resort locations.
