Job summary

Bristol-Mountain is seeking a rental shop associate in New York to help guests choose skis, snowboards, and boots. You will perform maintenance and safety checks, and ensure guests receive the correct equipment. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are required; knowledge of skiing and snowboarding is a plus.

Weekend/evening availability is needed, with hours varying by demand. Starting pay is $16 per hour.

Qualifications

16 years of age or older.
Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn rental shop specific software.
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist guests in choosing appropriate equipment including skis, snowboards, and boots.
Perform general maintenance and safety inspections of all rental equipment.
Ensure every guest is provided the appropriate equipment per their request.
Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
Present oneself in a professional manner at all times.
Communicate with Guest Services to ensure guests receive needed equipment.
Tune and wax ski and snowboard equipment to maintain high quality equipment.
Set DINs and binding equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Assist with other duties as needed.
