Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Intermediate to advanced skiing/snowboarding ability.
• Good physical conditioning including flexibility, strength, and endurance.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Neatly groomed appearance with ski/snowboard equipment in good condition.
• Aware of ski area terrain and facilities.
• Willingness to work during extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to learn equipment needs and safe operation procedures.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Safety oriented; follow safety protocols daily.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Daily meetings and class assignments with Supervisors/Managers.
• Assist in organizing lessons under department direction.
• Teach Ski/Snowboard lessons through logical progressions.
• Explain tasks clearly and adjust demonstrations for student progress.
• Maintain safety guidelines for all students.
• Assist with setup and teardown of lesson equipment.
• Work with snow removal teams on snowy mornings.
• Support guest arrival and rental equipment issuance in the children's center.
• Update knowledge through PSIA/AASI functions.
