Responsibilities of Ski/Snowboard School Admin include communicating with guests to explain lesson products and selling all Ski/Snowboard School products through the Reservation system and Guest Services.
Assisting the Ski/Snowboard School Admin . duties include identifying what instructors can appropriately teach class levels and updating instructors' schedules. Assist in various admin duties, such as scheduling, payroll, and updating boards. This is an Admin role of the Ski/Snowboard School Team.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensures the communication and selling of the Ski/Snowboard School products, to the public along with the Director and communication with Guest Services.
Operates the department in line with departmental standards, guidelines, objectives and operation. Work with the Manager for weekly and monthly expenses for operations to follow the Ski/Snowboard School budget plan, to meet or exceed financial goals.
Maintains and enhances the guest-focused culture in all areas of responsibility.
Assist in maintaining schedules of all Ski/Snowboard School employees, and communication in compliance with departmental objectives. Assist in accurate scheduling for all Instructor Staff and Supervisors. Monitor and ensure staff levels are accurate to meet reservation and lesson sales for each day and to project future sales.
Effective and appropriate communication skills in alignment with company culture with all levels of employees and guests.
Understanding of and compliance with corporate and resort-specific policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
It is important to understand that the position of Ski/Snowboard School Admin does involve a considerable amount of planning and development for daily payroll. This is a non-skiing/riding position; however, walking on the snow at times will be required within the base area.
Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snow packed and icy road surfaces.
It is imperative that all coordinators arrive to work on time. Holidays and special events may require longer hours.
At any time during the ski season, Dodge Ridge employees are often required to perform their tasks in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extremely cold or warm temperatures.
Work is typically outside working directly with resort guests and other resort staff members. It can be noisy, cold, wet, or humid. You may be expected to work in high places and frequently you will work around moving objects.
A professional appearance at Dodge Ridge is required. Please wear your name tag and uniform at all times during your scheduled shift. We will provide most of the uniform for you to do your job. However, you will be required to provide some items as part of your job, as listed below. The quality, color, and style of the items must be approved by your manager prior to being worn to work. All hats worn must have the Dodge Ridge logo while on shift.
