Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Jackson Hole is seeking a Seasonal Ski Shop Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day shop activities and support the Recreation Manager. You will supervise floor staff, manage scheduling, and ensure outstanding guest service with strong product knowledge.

The role requires a flexible schedule, the ability to lift up to 50 lb, and prior ski shop or retail supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in ski shop, retail shop, or supervisory role.
• Able to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day ski shop operations and assist Recreation Manager.
• Lead staff on floor, delegate tasks, and handle guest interactions.
• Support admin duties: scheduling, payroll, ordering, interviewing, digital communications, coaching.
• Rent ski equipment, process rentals, and maintain product knowledge.
• Maintain clean workspace, attend leadership meetings, merchandise retail, drive revenue.
• Schedule ski shop staff to maximize guest satisfaction within budget.
• Communicate time clock, grooming and uniform procedures; coordinate payroll needs.
• Know local activities and liaise with external contacts to provide tickets/reservations.
• Coordinate with Front Office for groups, VIPs, return guests; share guest preferences.
• Resolve guest complaints with Department Head; inform senior management.
