Job summary

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is seeking a Retail Lead for Hoback Sports in Jackson, WY. This full-time winter-season role supports daily store operations, leads staff, and drives exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, managing cash procedures, promotions, and assisting during peak periods. Previous retail experience and knowledge of skiing are preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of the ski/snowboard industry.
• Basic knowledge of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a plus.
• Cash handling skills.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Retail Manager in leading the daily operations of Hoback Sports.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Open/Close Hoback Sports.
• Work weekend shifts.
• Maintain efficient daily operations of Hoback Sports retail department.
• Work with sales staff to ensure proper cash-handling and charge procedures are in compliance.
• Execute daily operations of Hoback Sports including morning meetings, opening/closing procedures, daily sales goal, and key holder.
• Assist retail department during high customer volume periods.
• Assist in processing customer special orders, warranty returns and damages.
• Assist in executing store sales and promotions.
• Assist in processing store transfers.
• Merchandise new products and facilitate back stock/restocking.
• Work with retail manager to maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist in all sales training and up selling techniques.
• Facilitate morning sales goals and go over any new retail information.
