Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen seeks a Back Server to deliver food and beverage with meticulous service, deep menu knowledge, and timely guest follow-up. You will report to the Restaurant Manager and contribute to maintaining Forbes Five-Star standards in a ski-in/ski-out luxury environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a restaurant, a High School diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills. Seasonal full-time role with program benefits is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year experience working in a restaurant.
• Familiarity with Forbes 5-Star standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in clear verbal and written communication.
• Basic knowledge of wine, food and cooking methods.
• Ability to work with others to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Use suggestive selling techniques for food and beverage.
• Attend daily pre-meal tasting and pre-shift meetings.
• Greet guests, take orders and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Check guest satisfaction during meals.
• Handle guest checks and payments properly.
• Assist in clearing and setting tables.
• Report guest comments and complaints to management.
• Comply with Colorado liquor laws; do not serve intoxicated guests or minors.
• Other duties as assigned.
