Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company at Mammoth Mountain seeks a seasonal supervisor for the Ski & Ride School Main Lodge to oversee staff, lift ticket and lesson sales, and a small rentals operation. You will coordinate daily staffing and ensure a positive guest experience.

You will coach performance, emphasize guest service, teamwork, and safety, and collaborate with resort departments to maintain service standards. Seasonal opportunities with growth potential are available.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred; coaching and performance reviews.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

A little about this position:

Supervises a small team of staff to support the day-to-day operations of the Ski & Ride School Main Lodge Kids facility and outdoor beginner teaching area. This includes overseeing lift ticket and lesson sales, a small rentals facility, and the operation of one "magic carpet" & surrounding beginner teaching area. Coordinates daily staffing. Helps create a positive guest experience by resolving issues, providing information, and ensuring operational standards are maintained. Acts as a key point of communication between guests, instructors, supervisors and other resort departments

Responsible for coaching, measurement and recognition of employee performance – including seasonal performance reviews. Champions Mammoth's commitment to guest service, teamwork, safety, and creating memorable mountain experiences.

Pay starts at $27 per hour.
