Job summary

Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, CA is seeking seasonal skiing coaches to develop athletes and run training sessions. You'll create training and competition programs, and mentor athletes while coordinating with staff and parents.

This role emphasizes safety, technique, and enjoyable coaching in a world-class mountain environment. Requirements include PSIA Level 2 or USSA 100/200/300 certifications, a high school diploma, strong skiing mechanics, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent required.
• PSIA Level 2 or USSA Level 100/200/300 certifications required.
• Strong skiing mechanics knowledge and high skill level.
• Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Coach and teach athletes in training and competition programs.
• Implement and conduct training sessions.
• Communicate with parents and co-workers.
• Hours vary; some positions may be part-time or seasonal.

A little about this position:

Coaches and teaches athletes. Implements training/competition programs, conducts training. Communicates with parents and co-workers. Limited full and part time coaching positions available. Hours will vary depending on job requirements and opportunities.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent experience.
• PSIA level 2 or equivalent, or USSA Level 100, 200, 300 Coach.
• High skill level and knowledge of the mechanics for skiing.
• Fluency in English language.
• Pay Grade is contingent on certifications, teaching, coaching, and competitive experience.

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $26.94
