Job summary

Mt. Bachelor LLC. is looking for a Ski and Ride School Support Staff and Magic Carpet Operator in Bend, Oregon. You will assist with children’s lessons, help manage classroom transitions, and ensure safe, engaging experiences on the slopes.

The role requires physical endurance in winter conditions, strong teamwork, and a willingness to learn lift procedures. Benefits include season passes, housing options, and more to support staff and families.

Qualifications

Ability to supervise children and communicate clearly with families.
Knowledge of child-safety procedures and classroom/lesson etiquette.
Willingness to learn lift operating procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Support daily Ski and Ride School lessons, focusing on children’s classes.
Supervise children during indoor breaks, meals, and transitions, following safety procedures.
Communicate needs and safety concerns to instructors and supervisors promptly.
Organize and maintain lesson facilities, equipment, and teaching supplies.
Operate the magic carpet lift with proper safety and documentation.
Assist with loading/unloading guests and maintain safe traffic flow.
Shovel snow and maintain access to lesson areas and lifts.
Provide friendly guest service and strong teamwork.
