Everline Resort & Spa Lake Tahoe - Destination by Hyatt in Olympic Valley, CA seeks a Seasonal Ski Rental Technician to help guests rent ski and snowboard equipment and assist on the mountain.

You will determine guest abilities, manage equipment, and support ski valet, check services, and cashier duties while upholding a high level of guest service in a dynamic winter environment.

Qualifications

Job description

The Seasonal Ski Rental Technician will assist guests with the rental of ski and snowboard equipment, assist guests with their equipment on and off the mountain.

Responsibilities

• Communicate knowledge of all rental equipment and its functions to the guests.
• Determine guest's skiing abilities and assign equipment accordingly.
• Record and document all work completed on any equipment.
• Maintain a spotless work area.
• Answer guest's questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Assist with ski valet/concierge services.
• Assist with ski check services.
• Work as a cashier.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ski and snowboard rental experience preferred.
• Ability to pass binding certifications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Pleasant personality.
• Flexible with work schedule.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Palisades Tahoe Ski Area and surrounding ski areas.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to an indoor and outdoor working environment and the noise level in the work place is usually moderate to high.
• Typical equipment used include but is not limited radios, Ski tuning equiptment, cleaning supplies, handheld devices, phones, and computers.
