Job summary

The Hermitage Club seeks a Lift Operator to join our mountain team. You will help guests load, ride, and unload lifts safely while delivering friendly service and trail information.

This role focuses on safety, daily lift operations, and maintaining pristine lift stations in a dynamic winter environment. You’ll perform pre-operational checks, verify passes, assist with snow removal, and collaborate with Ski Patrol and Lift Maintenance to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Legal to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and assist with questions.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of guests on lifts.
• Perform pre-operational checks and assist with lift maintenance.
• Verify lift passes and credentials as required.
• Assist with daily snow removal, area setup, and lift station cleanliness.
• Record daily lift operations and incidents in logs.
• Collaborate with Ski Patrol and Lift Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
