Job summary

Bridger Bowl is seeking a seasonal Rentals & Retail associate in Bozeman, MT to deliver friendly guest service, process equipment check-ins/outs, and maintain secure Lost & Found items. You will assist customers with Bridger Bowl products and events while handling sales, money, and reports.

Prior experience in retail or guest services is preferred; strong communication and willingness to learn are essential. This on-site seasonal role includes ski pass benefits and staff discounts.

• Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems and basic computer application usage.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Provide guests with accurate information about mountain facilities, services, events, weather, and snow conditions while maintaining the equipment check-in/check-out, ensuring secure storage, and handling of lost & Found items.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Maintain a high level of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.

SUPERVISION:

Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Supervision Received: From the Rental & Retail Manager. Receives assignments as directed, with clear expectations, available guidance, and periodic performance reviews as needed or during check-ins.

QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, AND ADDITIONAL INFO:PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in customer service and/or retail sales.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Outdoor: Regularly working in quickly changing winter weather conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Indoor: work under consistent lighting and temperature controls.
• Work physically near others throughout the shift.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

• May require bending, stooping, standing, walking, and moving items that weigh up to 40 lbs.
• Requires the ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, communicate effectively with coworkers and visitors, handle stressful situations and upset customers, and completing tasks independently and efficiently.
