SUMMARY:Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests, processing transactions, assessing equipment needs, and performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on rental and customer equipment.PRIMARY DUTIES:Maintain a high level of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, supervisors, and coworkers.Provide knowledgeable support regarding Bridger Bowl products, services, and experiences.Assist in resolving guest concerns or escalate to Supervisors or Managers as needed.Greeting and guiding customers through the entire rental process:POS Expectations:Perform the daily opening and closing duties.Process transactions and guide rental sales for guests.Close out registers and submit end-of-day reports to the manager on duty.Accurately process cash and credit card transactions while maintaining responsible cash-handling practices and accountability for assigned registers.Tech Expectations:Help to assess their equipment needs and condition.Suggest appropriate equipment choices based on their skill level and preferences.Fitting rental boots for skiing and snowboarding to ensure guest satisfaction.Make appropriate binding-to-boot and binding release adjustments based on current industry safety standards.Use tools and equipment properly.Answer questions about equipment, the mountain, and safety procedures.Emphasize rental agreement expectations and return policy.Additional Duties:Maintain the rental fleet equipment to manufacturer’s standards and customer requests, including ski and snowboard base grinds, waxing and repairs on boots, poles, and other miscellaneous equipment.Perform housekeeping duties including washing windows, racks and counters, emptying trash, vacuuming and mopping, ensuring a clean workspace.Continuously learn and improve proficiency with the point-of-sale system.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Retail Assistant Manager and Rental & Retail Manager.EMPLOYEE EXPECTATIONS:Demonstrate good judgement and maintain a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude throughout the season.Be reliable, punctual, and dependable; adhere to a consistent schedule, including holidays.Display a genuine desire to share knowledge of the sport and inspire others to enjoy it.Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of all protected information.Follow operational procedures with attention to detail and accuracy.Be flexible and adaptable to ever-changing situations and workload.Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.Comply with and enforce Bridger Bowl policies and procedures.Contribute to Bridger Bowl's overall sustainability goals.SUPERVISION:Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Supervision Received: From the Rental Supervisors.
