Job summary

Powdr Corp. is hiring a Mountain Dispatch Specialist for Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon. The role focuses on collecting and communicating operations data, weather, lift operations, grooming, and snow reporting to internal teams and guests.

Shift starts as early as 6:00 a.m. with potential late finishes; about 10% outdoors and 90% indoors; seasonal from mid‑November to late May. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and reliable, with basic Excel/Outlook knowledge and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a communications-focused role preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and work very early in the morning in winter conditions.

Responsibilities

• Document ski area weather/snow conditions and operational status for internal teams and guests.
• Maintain weather/snow observations and grooming/terrain logs.
• Act as central dispatch hub via radio and phones; provide back-up to Ski Patrol Dispatch as needed.
• Assist Marketing/Communications during irregular or emergency situations as requested.
