Job summary

Sun Valley Resort is seeking a friendly and dependable Ski and Ride School Monitor to join our on-site team in a part-time capacity. You will help with daily setup, service, and cleanup, supporting ski instructors and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for kids and families.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with class organization, and maintaining cleanliness. Weekend and holiday availability and the ability to work outdoors in all weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable, and adaptable in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Must be able to follow instructions, stay organized, and communicate clearly with both children and adults.
• Previous experience with children or in hospitality preferred, but not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (sun, rain, heat, cold, snow, etc.).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, lifting, gripping, and reaching.
• Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Support restroom cleaning and tidying as needed

Description

The Ski and Ride School Monitor is an important part of our Ski and Ride team, helping to ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for our guests and their families. This hands-on role supports daily setup, service, and clean-up operations, and assists ski instructors with class management throughout the day.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly, professional attitude
