Job summary

MGA is seeking an SIU Fire/Theft Adjuster in Brownsville, TX. The role handles fire/theft claims, SIU and field investigations, requiring strong interviewing skills and knowledge of claims decisions under Texas law.

Two years of SIU or claims experience is preferred, with the ability to obtain an adjuster license in Texas and other states. Bilingual capability is a plus; strong computer navigation and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or comparable experience.
• Proficient with Windows and Google Suites.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle auto claims under Texas law.
• Work with SIU Investigators on claims and field investigations of clinics, shops, and other places as needed.
• Identify red flags and coordinate with outside SIU contacts and law enforcement when necessary.
• Detect and deter insurance fraud while providing excellent customer service in claims processing.
• Review policies to apply knowledge to claim decisions and ensure timely, professional communications.
