Pronto Insurance in Brownsville, TX seeks an SIU Fire/Theft Adjuster responsible for investigating fire and theft claims, conducting SIU field investigations, and making coverage and liability decisions. The role requires two years in SIU or Claims, and licensing in Texas or other states.

The position is permanent/full-time at 805 Media Luna Brownsville, with strong interviewing skills, customer service focus, and proficiency in Windows and Google Suites. Bilingual preferred but not required.

• Two years experience in SIU or Claims.
• Ability to obtain Texas adjuster license.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Proficient navigation of Windows and Google Suites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle auto claims, in accordance with Texas Law, in an assigned area to include verification of coverage, negligence and extent of damage to persons, and property, which may require contact by telephone, correspondence, or virtual technology.
• Work with SIU Investigators on all claims and assist in identifying all red flags, organized activity, and conduct field investigations of clinics, shops, and other places as needed.
• WorkMajor Case Investigations, facilitate roundtable meetings, analysis, development of facts and evidence and coordination with outside SIU contacts, NICB, Industry, Trade groups and Departments of Insurance and/or law enforcement agencies
• Detect and deter insurance fraud
• Provide superior service as you assist customers through the claims process in a virtual or centralized call center.
• Ensure integrity of investigations by developing accurate and relevant investigation material and data acquisition
• Resolve claim calls with professionalism and empathy while meeting phone staffing metrics.
• Issue payments as per discretionary settlement authority limits.
• Adjust reserves properly and understand their impact on a claim
• Draft well written letters
• Exhibit knowledge to review written repair estimates
• Ability to read and understand insurance policies and apply the knowledge when making claim decisions.
• Ensure that all compliance requirements for claims handling correspondence are met in a timely and professional manner.
