Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of sitework estimating or related field experience.
• Municipal utility project experience a plus.
• Strong construction terminology and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and review drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Perform quantity take-off of sitework components and determine material types.
• Calculate labor and equipment costs for self-performed work.
• Identify risks such as utility conflicts and dewatering needs.
• Solicit subcontractor/supplier participation via phone or email.
• Develop relationships with key vendors and subcontractors.
• Proficient in scope analysis and estimating deficiencies.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and write RFIs, clarifications, and assumptions.
