Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Content Strategist to lead content migration for a large-scale Sitecore XP to Sitecore AI transformation. You will partner with design vendors and client teams to assess, rationalize, and migrate content while ensuring scalable, AI-ready experiences for future growth.

This remote position cannot be performed in New York City. The role is contract through December 2026, with a possibility of extension but not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CMS migration projects with migration planning expertise.
• Strong content strategy background for large content inventories.
• Experience mapping legacy systems to future-state architectures.
• Client-facing skills for leading content discussions and alignment.
• Ability to work with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Understanding of content operations and scalable content framework design.
• Sitecore or other CMS platform migration experience required.
• This contract runs through December 2026 with potential extension not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Own comprehensive migration planning including content assessment, inventory analysis, and rationalization activities
• Map legacy content, templates, components, and URLs to future-state structures and information architecture
• Partner with third-party design vendors to influence design choices and ensure all page types and edge cases are captured
• Define reusable content types, metadata standards, and modular content frameworks supporting scalability and AI-readiness
• Facilitate content inventory decisions through systematic keep/remove/revise exercises with client stakeholders
• Develop migration sequencing strategies and cutover readiness plans for seamless platform transition
