Job summary

Artisan Talent is seeking a Content Operations Specialist for a contract engagement in Chicago with hybrid onsite options and US-wide remote consideration. You will build, edit, and publish content in Sitecore, collaborating with Content, UX, QA, and Project Management teams to deliver digital content across internal portals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years Sitecore experience, enterprise CMS workflow knowledge, sharp attention to detail, and strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience building and publishing content in Sitecore.
• Experience in an enterprise CMS with publishing workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to format content for readability, usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• Ability to follow templates, standards, workflows, and publishing guidelines precisely.
• Experience managing multiple pages and deadlines in fast-moving environments.
• Strong collaboration across Content, UX, QA, PM, and technical teams.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to troubleshoot CMS issues.
• Experience with employee intranets, enterprise portals, knowledge bases, or large corporate sites preferred.
• Familiarity with metadata, taxonomy, tagging, redirects, and content archiving preferred.
• 5+ years of digital content/CMS experience preferred.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and update pages in Sitecore based on designs and copy.
• Publish content via end-to-end workflows including personalization and archiving.
• Format content per approved designs and accessibility guidelines.
• Prepare pages for review, QA, and final publishing.
• Troubleshoot CMS errors, broken links, and formatting issues.
• Manage multiple pages, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate status updates for content workstreams.
• Collaborate with Content, UX, QA, PM, and technical teams.
• Support metadata, taxonomy, tagging, redirects, and archiving as needed.
• Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to diagnose publishing/presentation issues.
