Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a Site Work Foreman to lead grading and utility installation projects in the greater Gallatin, TN area. This hourly position focuses on planning, supervision, safety, scheduling, and on-site coordination with field crews and engineers.

The role requires directing excavation, grading, and mass grading operations, enforcing SSC safety policies, and maintaining documentation of hours and equipment time. OT and weekend work possible based on project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in grading operations.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Read and interpret grade stakes and drawings.
• Willing to work overtime and in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean record; pass drug screen.
• I-9 documentation and OSHA safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety procedures and training on site.
• Provide leadership for safety, scheduling, workforce planning, and cost control.
• Direct supervision of field crews in site, road, and subdivision work.
• Coordinate with surveyors and engineers for layout and sequencing.
• Inspect and plan excavation, grading, and utility installation methods.
• Maintain records of employee hours and equipment time.
