Job summary

Mars Petcare is seeking a seasoned PMO leader to drive site transformational projects and coordination across local, regional, and global teams. You will help shape the site strategy, OPEX roadmap, and associate development while leading complex programs and ensuring GMP compliance.

The role requires extensive project management experience, strong leadership in manufacturing environments, and the ability to work with multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering, basic sciences or business-related disciplines.
• 6 years’ experience in a Production/business environment.
• Experience in a managerial role.
• Project Management experience.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience in TPM/Lean/Continuous Improvement leadership.
• Ability to convey communications clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of major functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with all levels and functions.
• Successful completion of a drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

• CVS – Understand/Contribute/Participate in CVS Team and process.
• Conversion – Advise on daily operations challenges to drive results with a service mindset.
• Food Safety and Quality – contribute to Q&FS standards and lead related programs.
• Mars Supply Excellence – support FMOS and continuous improvement programs; lead site pillars.
• Change Agent – implement changes, collaborate across departments and regional functions.
• Associate Advocacy – drive engagement and development planning with leadership.
• Goal Setting and Measurement – establish goals, monitor progress, and report results.
• Communications – ensure open communications and escalation where needed.
• Site Strategy – participate in developing a 3-year rolling site strategy.
• Personal Development – pursue development opportunities with Site Director.
• Site Management – act as Senior Leader and, if needed, stand in for Site Director.
