Job summary

Corning Incorporated in the Phoenix area seeks a Training Manager to design, implement, and continuously improve training and workforce development programs for the AO Phoenix facility. You will own onboarding, offboarding, employee qualification standards, on-the-job training, and training compliance to drive operational excellence and quality.

Work with Operations, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources to develop strategic training plans, maintain training records, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in training or workforce development.
• Experience designing onboarding, qualification systems, and OJT programs.
• Knowledge of SOPs, document control, and training compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve site-wide training programs aligned with quality and safety goals.
• Lead plant-wide training initiatives, onboarding, and offboarding across the facility.
• Own OJT programs, employee qualifications, and trainer certification processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Safety to ensure trained and qualified staff.
• Maintain training records, compliance metrics, and audit-ready documentation.
