Qualifications

• Requires education and experience equivalent to high school graduation and two years maintenance or farming experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery is preferred.
• Ability to obtain pesticide operator's license within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains buildings, fixtures, equipment and regularly operates heavy equipment.
• Operates 35 foot aerial lift and for removal of trees and pruning areas; haul material to maintain trails.
• Maintains ground areas throughout the site.
• Repairs trails along canal including signs, washouts and bridges.
• Provides leadership and direction to seasonal employees and volunteers.
• Sells camping permits and firewood permits to the public.
• Assists in implementing safety and security programs at the site.
• Performs other duties as required within the scope of the duties.
