General Responsibilities

1. Reports to Home Care Agency Director, Administrator.
2. Main Responsibilities are (A) Risk Mitigation, (B) Compliance, and (C) Tool Support.
3. Supports ongoing training programs developed for Agency personnel.
4. Contributes to performance evaluations in a timely, measurable, and objective manner.
5. Supports and complies with the Agency’s policies and North Carolina State Regulations.

Risk Mitigation

1. Serves as the client point of contact for service-related issues, requests, and needs (outside of Plan of Care).
2. Serves as the caregiver point of contact for issues, requests, and needs related to clients (outside of Plan of Care).
3. Coordinates a list of potential at-risk areas requiring attention and mitigation.
4. Reviews the list with the Agency Director or Administrator to discuss the best course of action.

Compliance

1. Ensures company documentation is authorized, accurate, and completed on time.
2. Maintains an inventory of policy-required documentation.
3. Works with personnel and clients to remind and coordinate the completion of required documentation.

Tool Support

1. Supports access and knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
2. Supports access and knowledge of WellSky Personal Care Desktop Dashboard and Mobile App.
3. Supports access and knowledge of HSRM and Unite US (NC Cares 360).

Professional Requirements

1. Maintains regulatory requirements, including all state and federal regulations.
2. Ensures client confidentiality at all times.
3. Attends annual reviews and departmental in-services.
4. Represents the organization professionally.
5. Resolves personnel concerns at the departmental level, using the grievance process as needed.
6. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding operations, fire, safety, and infection control.
7. Communicates administrative directives effectively and consistently to personnel.
8. Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the Agency.
