Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Field Supervisor/Site Lead for its rapidly growing data centre team in San Antonio. You will oversee onsite specialists, installers and subcontractors while remaining hands-on with installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of electronic security systems.

The role combines leadership with practical field work, offering room for progression as the team expands and projects scale. Strong knowledge of access control and CCTV is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience within electronic security systems.
• Experience supervising technicians, installers or subcontractors onsite.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV/video surveillance and associated security infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, testing and troubleshooting security systems.
• Experience reading drawings, blueprints and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite delivery of electronic security projects across hyperscale data centers.
• Supervise Security Project Specialists, installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
• Oversee installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of security systems.
• Ensure installation quality meets project specifications and customer standards.
• Identify onsite project risks and communicate issues with the Project Manager.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to field teams.
• Support customer training and successful project handover.

The organization is currently on the lookout for a Field Supervisor/Site Lead to join its rapidly growing data centre team in San Antonio, overseeing onsite specialists, installers, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will remain hands-on with the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of electronic security systems while stepping into a leadership role with room to continue developing as the team grows.
