Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor in Fargo, ND. The role supervises Security Officers across client sites, ensuring post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed. You will coach staff, provide training, and coordinate coverage with management to meet client security requirements.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, strong customer service, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Driver certification and solid computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of Security experience required.
• 1 year of Supervisory experience preferred.
• Above average computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Calm and professional under stress.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers and other personnel at client sites; ensures post orders followed and reports filed.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as needed; conducts performance coaching.
• Trains Security Officers and reviews assignment details with team.
• Ensures adequate coverage of posts and positions in coordination with management.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
• Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 1 year of Supervisory experience preferred.
• Driver certification.
• 2 years of Security experience required.
