Securitas, Inc. in Ellendale, ND is hiring a Security Officer - Full-time to protect clients and maintain a safe environment. You will monitor premises, manage access control, patrol sites, and respond to incidents with professional judgment. We offer comprehensive benefits and flexible scheduling.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently and calmly under pressure. Driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Safe Driving certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Security Officer - Full-time

Primary Location: Ellendale, ND

Wage: $25.00/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements:

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be comfortable with extended periods of walking.
