Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) is seeking a Site Supervisor for our San Antonio location. You will direct construction of commercial office spaces and manufacturing facilities, serving as the principal on-site representative.

The role requires experience with commercial tenant improvements and strong leadership to drive project success. Based in NE San Antonio temporarily while our new manufacturing plant comes online; permanent site is Brooks, San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience, specifically tenant improvements.
• Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize subcontractor/employee performance.
• Strong scheduling and planning abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Establish project requirements based on contract documents, monitoring cost, quality, and schedule.
• Lead subcontractors, manage scope changes, costs, and schedules.
• Maintain daily progress and weather/obstruction reports.
• Prepare and present project status reports to leadership.
• Oversee project documentation (RFIs, submittals, inspections, closeout).
• Manage multiple projects in San Antonio and Austin.
