Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Site Supervisor in Glenmont, NY to lead a team of Operators, Drivers, and Vehicle Mechanics in a 24/7 environment. You will drive safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with logistics and maintenance teams.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years in plant operations; a Bachelor's in Engineering is preferred. Strong leadership and SAP experience are valued. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of industrial plant/ops experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial gas, chemical, manufacturing, distribution, or maintenance operations.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management for operations teams.
• Support safe operation of air separation unit, nitrogen liquefiers, and fleet maintenance.
• Coordinate daily activities to ensure reliable production and delivery to customers.
• Identify issues, drive corrective actions, and lead maintenance improvements.
• Lead MOC activities including procedure development and implementation.
• Support reliability initiatives with regional maintenance and technical teams.
• Drive productivity, cost reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
• Interface with engineering, logistics, regulators, contractors, and support orgs.
• Participate in start-up, commissioning, expansion, and capital projects; provide on-call support.
