Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a Memphis site, ensuring safety of personnel, property, and assets. You will supervise security officers, enforce client policies, and act as the primary site contact for issues and incident response.

This is a Full-Time, 1st Shift role with weekends and Summers, offering paid training, competitive wages, and benefits. A Tennessee unarmed security license and valid driver’s license are required or attainable.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain an Unarmed State Security License.
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine walking patrols to identify and address security risks.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to protocol.
• Enforce Security Post Instructions, company, and client policies.
• Lock/unlock facilities, operate security systems, and monitor surveillance.
• Address policy violations (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
• Maintain accurate activity and incident logs.
• Communicate effectively with officers, clients, and management.
• Maintain a professional appearance in a clean, pressed uniform.

Conditions of Employment

Role Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Security Patrol & Monitoring

• Conduct routine walking patrols to identify and address security risks
• Monitor access points and verify credentials

Security Operations & Compliance

• Enforce Security Post Instructions, company, and client policies
• Lock/unlock facilities, operate security systems, and monitor surveillance

Reporting & Communication

• Maintain accurate activity and incident logs
• Communicate effectively with officers, clients, and management
• Maintain a professional appearance in a clean, pressed uniform

Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes

Team Oversight & Support

• Provide guidance and direction to security officers
• Ensure adherence to security procedures and customer service standards
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage as needed
• Serve as primary contact for client issues and escalations
• Review incident reports for accuracy and completeness
• Support onboarding and training of new personnel

Preferred

• 3+ years Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• 1+ year supervisory and customer service experience

Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)

• Sit or stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping

Education & Experience

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years' verifiable experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree or higher
