Job summary

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor in Chattanooga to maintain a safe, secure environment for clients.

You will lead patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and prepare detailed activity logs. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1+ year supervisory or military/security experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by state regulations
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• 1+ year of supervisory-level security experience (not required)
• 1+ year of verifiable military, law enforcement, or security experience
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and walk patrols
• Ability to monitor access points and report incidents according to policy

Responsibilities

• Lead Officers support daily site activity through patrols, access control, incident response, reporting, and customer service
• Monitor access points; verify identification and credentials
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following established protocols
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities and events
• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., securing doors, monitoring restricted areas)

Lead Officers support daily site activity through patrols, access control, incident response, reporting, and customer service. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by state regulations
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
• Customer Service
• Minimum age: 18 years old
• Conduct routine walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
• Monitor access points; verify identification and credentials
• Observe surveillance equipment for suspicious or unsafe activity Incident Response & Reporting
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following established protocols
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities and events
• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., securing doors, monitoring restricted areas)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement

• Provide professional assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors
• Enforce client-specific Post Orders and company policies
• Ensure compliance with SEI and client rules, including smoking, parking, and loitering policies
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
• Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during critical incidents
• Basic computer proficiency, including use of tablets for reporting
• Weekend availability as needed

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lead/supervise

Physical Requirements with or Without reasonable accommodation

Education & Experience
