Security Engineers, Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment for our clients. This role supports daily site activity through patrols, access control, incident response, and efficient reporting.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong observation, calm decision-making under pressure, and excellent customer service. Valid security credentials and a driver's license are required; weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by state regulations
Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
Minimum age: 18 years old
Conduct routine walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify identification and credentials
Observe surveillance equipment for suspicious or unsafe activity Incident Response & Reporting
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents following established protocols
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities and events
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., securing doors, monitoring restricted areas)

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with SEI and client rules, including smoking, parking, and loitering policies
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making skills
Ability to remain calm and professional during critical incidents
Basic computer proficiency, including use of tablets for reporting
Weekend availability as needed

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lead/supervise

Physical Requirements with or Without reasonable accommodation

Ability to stand or sit for at least 1 hour without break
Ability to walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
Ability to climb at least 20 stairs in a commercial facility

Education & Experience

Minimum

High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
1+ year of supervisory-level security experience (not required)
1+ year of verifiable military, law enforcement, or security experience
2+ years of customer service experience
