Job summary

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to help maintain safe environments for our clients in Florida.

Officers deter incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement, performing patrols, monitoring access points, verifying IDs, and responding to alarms per protocol.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work weekends.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)

Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation
