Job summary

Maumee River Roofing is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee roof replacement projects, ensuring safety, quality, and customer property protection on every job.

You will prioritize daily tasks, coordinate with production management and subcontractors, manage material inventories, communicate clearly with customers, and conduct final walkthroughs with homeowners to confirm satisfaction and sign-off.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of project management or site supervision experience.
  • 1–2 years in general construction.
  • 1–2 years in supervisory or leadership role.
  • 1–2 years experience with CRM software (e.g., AccuLynx).

  • Take inventory of materials on-site and in the warehouse.
  • Educate and communicate job needs and status with operations, crews, and customers.
  • Complete final walkthrough with homeowners.

Job description

Summary:

The goal of the Site Supervisor is to ensure that the roof replacement is done effectively without causing harm to the customer or their property. They oversee and inspect the installation process during the replacement, as well as the post-job cleanup. They work alongside subcontractors to ensure proper safety precautions are taken both on the jobsite and during supply deliveries.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Prioritize 1-2 jobs per day to ensure Company satisfaction during the installation process and monitor overall customer feedback
  • Collaborate with production management team to ensure the crews have a well-documented schedule and understand each job up to one week before the start date
  • Manage a daily schedule to ensure that jobs are completed by the deadline
  • Take inventory of materials on-site and in the warehouse
  • Monitor and educate on supply needs and functionality
  • Complete and load a materials list daily for each job's specifics
  • Educate and communicate job needs and status with operations, crews, and customers
  • Ensure the on-site team fully understands job expectations for the day
  • Treat the site with the same care and attention as if it were your own home or property
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners, ensuring they understand our process.
  • Answer incoming questions from the crew and customers about the products and installation
  • Complete final walkthrough with homeowners
Education & Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management and/or site supervisory
  • 1-2 years experience in general construction
  • 1- 2 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • 1-2 years experience with CRM software, such as AccuLynx or inventory management
Qualifications
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a subcontracting crew effectively
  • Solve problems effectively, handling customer concerns and internal challenges with skill
  • Utilize industry-related technologies and tools, including production tools such as razor knives, air guns, saws, and chalk lines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both English and Spanish (preferred- not required)
  • Work a flexible schedule, including hours exceeding 12 hours per day
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs
  • Ability to climb ladder
  • Ability to climb on roofs greater than 1 story
  • Ability to walk on roofs and climb steep inclines
  • Ability to wear and maintain all necessary safety fear
  • Ability to stoop or kneel as needed
  • Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive to different job sites, run errands, and transport materials or equipment
  • Physically capable of handling supply runs, picking up materials, and transporting trailers
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
