Job summary

VxL Enterprises seeks a capable Security Lead to manage an Access Control team at a government facility. You will oversee posts, schedule shifts, run muster, and report incidents, serving as the day-to-day point of contact with the government customer.

Required are U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, 4+ years as an Access Control Officer, 2+ years as supervisor, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. The role emphasizes on-site leadership and strict compliance with security protocols.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 4 years experience as an Access Control Officer, including use of security systems such as DISS.
• At least 2 years experience as an access control supervisor.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or ability to obtain before start.
• Eligible for a DoD CAC; able to sign NDA and possibly a counterintelligence polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control posts and keep every post covered.
• Build and adjust shift schedules; fill vacancies quickly.
• Conduct daily muster and brief the team.
• Document and report incidents and security events.
• Act as the primary on-site liaison with the government customer.
• Ensure team completion of security training with relief scheduled so posts stay covered.

Schedule:

Full-time. Weekday daytime core business hours, Monday through Friday. Lead officers cover evenings and weekends.

Status:

This position is contingent on contract award.

About the role:

Lead a team of Access Control Officers and Security Escorts protecting a secure government facility. You manage posts, schedule shifts, run daily muster, report incidents, and serve as the day-to-day point of contact with the government customer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage access control posts and keep every post covered
• Build and adjust shift schedules; fill vacancies quickly
• Conduct daily muster and brief the team
• Document and report incidents and security events
• Act as the primary on-site liaison with the government customer
• Make sure team members complete required security and annual training, with relief scheduled so posts stay covered
• Perform access control duties alongside the team when needed

Minimum qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• At least 25 years of age (contract requirement)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience as an Access Control Officer, including use of personnel security systems such as DISS
• At least 2 years of experience as an access control supervisor (experience may come from any employer or contract)
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or able to obtain before start)
• Eligible for a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
• Willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and, if required, submit to a counterintelligence polygraph
