Job summary

VxL is seeking a Lead Access Control Officer to direct a team protecting a secure government facility. You will manage posts, schedule shifts, run daily muster, and report incidents as the day-to-day liaison with the government customer.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, TS/SCI clearance, a high school diploma, and 4+ years as an Access Control Officer (including DISS), with 2+ years in supervisory roles. CPR/First Aid and CAC eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Age 25+ (contract requirement).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years’ experience as an Access Control Officer, including use of personnel security systems such as DISS.
• At least 2 years’ experience as an access control supervisor.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start).
• Eligible for a DoD Common Access Card (CAC).
• Willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and, if required, submit to a counterintelligence polygraph.

Schedule: Full-time. Weekday daytime core business hours, Monday through Friday. Lead officers cover evenings and weekends.

• At least 2 years of experience as an access control supervisor (experience may come from any employer or contract)
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or able to obtain before start)
• Eligible for a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
