Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor will work under the general direction of the Site Manager and is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the customer site location, including safety, regulatory compliance, managing direct reports, adherence to contracts, supporting customer growth, and other operational activities.

What You'll Do
  1. Ensure safe, efficient, legal, and economical operations of the location daily.
  2. Facilitate compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies, including training, documentation, and record keeping.
  3. Support sales efforts while maintaining compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  4. Lead the emergency response team at the site.
  5. Implement and manage health and safety programs, conducting safety audits with supervisors or safety managers.
  6. Investigate incidents, communicate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  7. Report performance, costs, productivity, trends, and issues to upper management.
  8. Maintain a supervisory presence, hold pre-shift meetings, and communicate expectations to staff.
  9. Manage daily activities to meet operational goals.
  10. Ensure employees have necessary tools and training on safety and operational standards.
  11. Adhere to quality processes at the site.
  12. Collaborate with departments to resolve issues efficiently.
What You'll Need
  1. High School Diploma/GED.
  2. 3-5 years hazardous waste operations experience (preferred).
  3. Knowledge of BiProduct and Waste facility operations (preferred).
  4. Understanding of governmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT) or ability to attain this knowledge.
  5. Leadership skills to support and empower employees.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  7. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
  8. Decision-making ability balancing customer needs and company goals.
  9. HazMat and Hazwoper certifications are a plus.
