Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor will work under the general direction of the Site Manager and is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the customer site location, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and compliance activities, managing direct reports, maintaining contracts, supporting customer growth, and overseeing other operational activities.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the daily safe, efficient, legal, and economical operations of the location.
• Ensure compliance with corporate health, safety, and environmental policies, including completing all required training, documentation, and record keeping.
• Support sales efforts in line with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Lead the emergency response team at the customer site.
• Implement and manage the health and safety program, conducting safety audits with Operations Supervisors or Safety Managers.
• Conduct incident investigations, communicate root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Report on performance, costs, productivity, and industry trends to upper management.
• Maintain a supervisory presence, hold daily pre-shift meetings, and communicate expectations.
• Manage daily operations to meet goals and ensure employees have necessary tools and training.
• Ensure quality processes are followed at the site.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve issues efficiently.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 3-5 years of hazardous waste operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BiProduct and Waste facility operations preferred.
• Understanding of governmental requirements (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT) or ability to attain such knowledge.
• Proven supervisory leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
• Decision-making ability, balancing customer needs and company objectives.
• HazMat and Hazwoper certifications are a plus.
